Democratic energy sector? • lower bills – increase of energy efficiency (EE) of Poland to current EU-15 level • Cheaper options available–e.g. 20mln LED bulbs equals 1 nuke block of 1000MW–100 times cheaper! • Increased security – local/decentralised EE i RES • Local and sustainable jobs (+35 000 already) • UE support for EE/RES investments. (MFF 2014-2020) •  Improved living conditions (incl. miners) and environment, SME development • linking cities/regions in Poland and in Europe (sister cities, Convenant of Mayors) •  Citizens’ control and benefits (incl. financial)
