  2. Then… • Born and raised in Blacksburg– GO HOKIES! • Older brother and sister– the youngest of three • Played every sport, but focused on basketball • Birthday is August 18th

  3. Now… • Married high school sweetheart in July 2009 • Husband is in the Navy • Went to Radford University and transferred to Old Dominion • Majoring in English– want to teach high school and maybe college one day • No children– but one perfect little dog named Charlie (and it’s a girl…)

  4. Randoms… • I love flowers, gardens, and nature (naturally, green is my favorite color) • Jane Austen and James Patterson are my favorite authors • I can’t stand people who constantly drive in the left hand lane • Three is my “lucky” number– but any number with a three will do • My dream car is a Jeep Wrangler (fingers crossed!) • “Give me odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed.” -Walt Whitman
