Content 25 years ago and today: • Do boys and girls have PE-lessons together? • Which competitions are there? • Can you choose PE as subject in your A-level? • Where do the pupils have their PE-lessons? • Are there any teams or groups which work with PE? • Do the pupils have swimming lessons, too? • Are there any special locations?

  3. Do boysandgirlshave PE-lessonstogether? 25 years ago: Boys and girls had Physical Education (PE) lessons together today: They still do the same activities during PE-lessons and there is no difference between boys and girls (except grading in special fields)

  4. Whichcompetitionsarethere? 25 years ago: • There were some competitions between the different schools in Iserlohn (all types of school) • Athletics (different teams of every school) • ‘Bundesjugendspiele‘ (a competition at all German schools in different disciplines)

  5. Which competitions are there? Today: • Matchs between the teams of different schools in different sports (for example: Hockey, Soccer..etc.) • Competition between some pupils of different schools in some sports (Almost Athelic types of sport)

  6. Can youchoose PE assubject in your A-level? 25 years ago: The pupils were able to choose PE as the 4th subject of their A-level (oral and practical exam) Today:  Physical Education can‘t be an A-level subject anymore at our school

  7. Where do thepupilshavetheir PE-lessons? 25 years ago: • ‘Stennerhalle‘(gymnasium of the school) + ‘Almelohalle‘(a gymnasiumn near our school) and ‘Seilersee‘(A lake in Iserlohn) look at the pictures Today:  ‘Stennerhalle‘ + ‘Almelohalle‘ and ‘Seilersee‘

Are thereanyteamsorgroupswhichworkwith PE? 25 years ago: Young people train for the Olympics (different f sport teams training together) Today: • soccer team, hockeyteam…etc (coached by teachers) • ‘Sporthelfer‘ (older students support younger students during break times: they provide sports items or do sports activities with them)

  9. Do pupilshaveswimminglessons, too? 25 years ago: The pupils had their swimming lessons at ‘Gartenbad‘(former indoor swimming pool near our school) in Iserlohn pictures Today:  5th and 6th grade do swimming at ‘Seilerseebad‘(indoor swimming pool of Iserlohn)

  10. Are thereanyspeciallocations? For 25 years they have been almost the same locations: ‘Stennerhalle‘ (gymnasium of our school)

  12. Locations for the last 25 years Der ‘Seilersee‘(the lake in Iserlohn)

  14. Locations today ‘Seilerseebad‘(Indoor swimming pool) ‘Seilerseesportplatz‘ (one sports ground in Iserlohn)
