  3. Proposed Conference Time • 30 June – 5 July 2013 • May be shifted 1 week back or forth if desired

  4. Numbers, Requirements • Estimated no attendees: 700 • 8 parallel sessions with capacities 200, 200, 150, 150, 100, 100, 70, 70 seats. • Auditorium with capacity > 1000 • Wi-Fi connectivity • Welcome reception, Awards luncheon, Banquet, 9 Coffee breaks, Water/Refreshments available all day • <700 Euro registration fee (VAT included)

  5. Preliminary study • Contacted more than 5 agencies and collected offers. • Best bids came from DEKON and KONGRESIST, both very experienced firms, the latter organizer of ICC 2006 Istanbul. • The venue of choice by both agencies is ICEC (next page). • 700 Euro registration fee appears feasible. • A contract needs to be signed an estimated 20 K€ deposited to reserve the venue.

Cent.) • http://www.icec.org/en/ • Located in Taksim district—the business, cultural and touristic center of the city. • Great variety of hotels (5 star downto decent 3 star hotels) within walking distance • In-house resturant-cafes available.   13. Next steps • If a decision to hold ISIT 2013 is reached, the next steps will be • Complete the Organizing Committee • Collect final bids from agencies and sign contracts • Pay a non-refundable deposit to ICEC to reserve the building
