  2. To discuss people in Spanish, you will often use subject pronouns. When you want to describe a person or explain who he or she is, use the verb ser.

  3. Singular Plural ser- to be yo nosotros(as) I am we are soy somos tú vosotros(as) you are you are eres sois él, ella, usted ellos ellas, ustedes they are son he, she is es

  4. When Alma introduces Francisco to Arturo, she uses a subject pronoun with ser. -Élesmi vecino. -He is my neighbor. verb: ser Subject Pronoun

  5. Francisco uses other examples. -Nosotrossomos de muchoslugares. -We are from many places. verb: ser Subject Pronoun

  6. If Alma were to say that someone is a neighbor, she would say: Él es un vecino. However, if she were to say that someone is a policeman, she would say: Él es policia. The word un or unadoes not appear before a profession.

  7. nosotros somos Nosotros somos estudiantes.

  8. Sofía es Sofia es estudiante.

  9. la señora Lear es La señora Lear es maestra.

  10. Rebecca y yo somos Nosotras somos amigas.

  11. Eva, Mike y Sofía son Eva, Mike y Sofia son amigos.
