University Study Abroad Consortium • Eligibility Criteria for all the scholarships– • Must be a student from a non English speaking country. • Should not have a U.S. passport or U.S. residency. • cannot be enrolled at a U.S. university or in a university located in an English speaking country. • Must provide proof of insurance prior to the beginning of the program or insurance must be purchased through USAC. • Must provide proof of having completed secondary education. • Must have a Visa one month prior to the start date of the programs. • Recipients of the Freeman Asia Scholarship are awarded up to $7,000 depending on the length of their study. • Recipients of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship are awarded up to $5,000 depending on the length of their study, in order to defray the costs associated with study abroad. • Returning Student and Alumni get a discount Visit: http://usac.unr.edu/usac/information.aspx?dispinfo=7#156 for more information
