The Lanzerac Hotel & Spa is set in the heart of the Cape winelands on the outskirts of the historic university town of Stellenbosch. Established over 300 years ago, today the estate, situated on a private 155 hectare working wine estate, is renowned for superb luxury, first-class service, the finest wine and cuisine, superior pampering and wellness, thereby earning it a coveted place amongst the most prestigious luxury hotels in the world.

  3. Accommodation The tastefully refurbished Lanzerac Hotel & Spa offers world-class hospitality, discreet security and outstanding service. Exclusive & private, the Hotel is in essence a masterpiece in new age hospitality. Accommodation is limited to 48 luxurious rooms, including Junior Suites, the Exclusive Royal Pool Suite with its own private pool and the elegant Presidential Suite situated in the Manor House, which dates back to 1830. The rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture. These rooms are surrounded by lush vineyards and the majestic Helderberg Mountains.

  4. Thank you for considering The Lanzerac Hotel & Spa as a potential venue for your wedding. We are able to accommodate a maximum of 250 people in various venues for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Cocktail, High-Tea or Dinner Functions.

  5. FunctionVenueCosts Manor Lawn Ceremony : R3 500 per day All chairs, décor and equipment are not included in the venue fee. Manor Lawn / Marquee Reception: R10 000 per day This fee excludes tables, chairs and any equipment. Marquee / Bedouin tent hire is for own expense. Evening weddings require the booking of the 18 rooms leading out onto the Manor Lawn. The Cellar / Banqueting Venue Reception: 0-100 people: R7 000 per day 101-150 people: R7 500 per day Max: 120 people with a dance floor Max: 150 people without a dance floor These rates include cutlery, crockery, glassware, tables, chairs and standard linen. Esquire Whisky & Cigar Bar and The Lady Anne Courtyard (Outdoor Venue): R7 000 Maximum of 80 people. 4 x Classic Rooms are required to be booked for evening functions. Esquire Whisky & Cigar Bar: R3500 This includes the exclusive use of the bar for private functions. 4 x Classic Rooms are required to be booked for evening functions.

  6. Function Venue Costs continued Ceremony & Reception Bookings: For the Bride & Groom: Complimentary Double Room for the evening of their wedding, on a bed & breakfast basis. Subject to Availability. Reception Bookings Only: For the Bride & Groom: 50% Discount off the Double Room rate, on a bed & breakfast basis. Please note: All prices quoted are valid until 31 December 2010 and includes 14% VAT. These prices are subject to change without prior notice. Please note: Standard linen consists of white table cloths and napkins. All other colours are required to be hired-in at own expense.

  9. Beverages We offer a Full Bar Service at a cost of R1200 per bar. There are 3 options regarding wines and sparkling wines: * The Lanzerac Hotel offers a comprehensive wine list available for your function. * You can supply your own wine from other estates. Corkage will be charged at R40 per bottle on non-estate wines. * You can buy the wine directly from our winery. The corkage charged estate wines will be R25 per bottle.   10. Décor, Equipment & Music A variety of dance floors to suit your taste are available from R4 000. All décor, equipment, music, photographers and videographers are for your own account. A list of suppliers is available at request.

  12. Weekday & Sunday Wedding Specials We offer the same value packages at discounted rates for Mid-week and Sunday Weddings. Package Includes: Venue Hire: R 4500 for 1-100 people R 5500 for 101-103 people Set-Up Fee: R 25.00 per person Menu: From R 240 per person Corkage: R 15 per bottle For the Bride & Groom: 1 x Complimentary nights accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis for the evening of the wedding.
