  • When studying, students should:

    • RECITE

      • Describe or explain topics aloud; put in their own words

      • Teach the information to someone else

      • Engage in a simulation or role play

    • WRITE

      • Make chapter study review cards

      • Make flashcards (math facts, sight words, vocabulary words and definitions)


      • Close eyes and “picture in mind” any charts, diagrams, words, maps, events, time period, scenes, experiments, or characters that they are trying to remember.
