  3. Life… • At the age of 15 Da Vinci was taken in by Verrocchio for an apprenticeship. • Went to Milan in 1482 and worked for the Duke. It was here where he reached his heights as a scientist and artist. VerrocchioThe Baptism of Christ

  4. Did you know? • Only 19 or 20 paintings have survived • Most of his work is incomplete

  6. The Last Supper • It is a depiction of Jesus and the Last Supper • Da Vinci was not actually there… he used models that were carefully selected that posed for the painting • It took Da Vinci seven years to finish the painting
