  1. WELCOME! To Mrs. Flowers class, D8 8th grade MATH teacher Email: jflowers@montgomerycatholic.org WordPress: mcpsflowers.wordpress.com/ I cheated and put this presentation on my WordPress page.

Expectations • A classroom filled with students willing to work and learn to the best of their abilities. • Students proactive about their learning working to their highest potential never accepting mediocrity or anything less than a C. • RESPECT for the teacher, each other and property as well as the right to a positive learning environment.

  3. PearsonRealize.com • This is an excellent program that allows your child unlimited practice and feedback on every problem he does. No more 20 questions – all completely wrong. • PLEASE have your child PRACTICE and use video tutorials for extra help and guidance. • Of course students are allowed limited help on practice and encouraged to show me problems when more help is needed. • TUTORIALS are available for math help every day except Fridays until 3:52 pm. • Work is usually posted 1 – 1 ½ weeks ahead of time.

Come find out!! and Exploring the world of science WHAT: A math program and a science program for all interested problem solvers and science explorers WHEN: After school on alternating Wednesdays from 4-5:00 pm WHERE: B-4, Mrs. Petters room, and D-8, Mrs. Flowers room NEEDED: Interested students, parent volunteers NEXT MEETING – AUGUST 29th, after school, Science Olympiad PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND! Students with after school activities have their sponsors permission to come.
