Long Range Planning Initiative The Long Range Planning process will facilitate transitions during congregational changes, reenergize POP members and facilitate recruitment of committee members and leaders for the congregation. The Long Range Planning process will lead members to a deeper level of commitment to the congregation and its future.

  3. Consultant Selection • Interviewed 3 consultants • All three of the consultant’s felt we should wait until Gary’s retirement to engage the congregation in Long Range Planning activities • Made recommendation to hire Rev. Dave Daubert DDaubert@Day8Strategies.com

Dave Daubert from Day 8 Strategies DDaubert@Day8Strategies.com • He did the best job of listening and reacting to our approved initiative and related goals and outcomes • He seemed comfortable with our request and would adapt his approach to meet our needs • He had an interactive approach with the congregation and defined process that will be followed • Formal assessment of the church with recommendations • Six to eight month duration • Expected cost $8,500 to $10,000
