Reviewed the FCC final rules for TVWS: Good participation from those with an interest in TVWS Due to differences there was consensus not to file any comments Reviewed and approved 1 document from 802.16 to the ITU-R Director: 18-10-0073-00 “Proposed Communication to ITU regarding 4G Wireless Technology” To be considered at the closing EC meeting Decided to hold a conference call on November 19 to address the UK Ofcom TVWS consultation and the ECC proposed TVWS rules Report of the November Meeting Michael Lynch, MJ Lynch & Associates

  3. Review/discuss the then current status of the FCC selection of a database administrator for the TVWS Review/discuss any new regulatory rules or proposed rules between meetings. Work Planned for the January Meeting Michael Lynch, MJ Lynch & Associates

Active participation is encouraged! • 802.18 needs consistent participation from all wireless WGs • Our charter is to provide balanced representation of the interests of all of the wireless WGs before the FCC, other regulatory bodies and the ITU-R • Other members of wireless WGs who can attend 802.18 as their primary group, or at least substantially, are also encouraged to participate • Remember … attendance in 802.18 meetings counts towards maintaining your voting rights in your “home WG” Michael Lynch, MJ Lynch & Associates
