Voice of Nursing Community of Practice Forum Community of Practice is an interactive forum for Kaiser Permanente teams, facilities and/or regions to share their on-going activities, best practices and challenges to: • Embed the Kaiser Permanente Nursing Vision, Values, and Professional Practice Model • Drive nursing professional practice goals • Improve patient outcomes Learn from others, get new innovative ideas, identify potential obstacles to speed and spread your own process Presentation slides will be posted on the Nursing Pathways website.   11. Our Successes to Date 6 Two Day Voice of Nursing sessions so far Over 250 nurses inspired Staff nurses are teaching staff nurses Waiting lists to enroll 8 workshops scheduled in 2017

  12. Workshop Feedback I needed this course. It reignited the fire as to why I became an RN. Great course! Cannot speak more highly of it. Thank you very much for a job very well done. I have more positive visions and directions of what I will do to make the best change along with other nurses. Thanks again! Best workshop ever It was awesome!!! Can I go next year also?! What We Need Help With… • Any ideas on maintaining the momentum or feeling of inspiration of those who have attended Voice of Nursing 1.0 already, as we spread it to those who have not attended yet? • Is there a better way to track specialty certifications and collect data regarding academics without pulling it from My HR?

  21. The Journey Continues – Save The Date We are very excited to announce the 2017 Voice of Nursing 3.0: Building a Culture of Excellence summit. This conference will build upon the great work that is going on in all areas of nursing throughout Kaiser Permanente. We are sending this SAVE THE DATE early so that you can include this two day leadership summit as part of your 2017 Nurses Week activities. The expectation is that the Voice of Nursing champions and project leads will attend, along with high performing staff nurses who exemplify professional practice. We are planning an exciting and engaging two day conference that will increase your knowledge and inspire your thinking!!" Registration is expected to open early February 2017.
