  3. Training Methods • Brainstorming – Group Ideas (What If’s) • Trips & Tours – To EMS, Fire , Hospitals, Police Departments • Simulation Role Play – Near Real Conditions Role Reversal (Cross Train) • Case Studies – Use data from actual /fictitious situations to solve or learn from.

  4. Training Methods • Drill and Practice – Repeated and Guided • Computer Based Training - CD’s, Distance Learning: may be self paced or instructor led.

  5. Instructor Tips Determine Lesson Ahead of Time Know Your Material Delivery Evaluate and Adjust

  6. Instructor Tips Determine your students learning style: Visual - Use charts, maps, videos, notes Practice visualizing or picturing words or concepts. Write out everything for quick review. Auditory - Recorded lectures to help fill gaps of notes. Class room type setting. Tactile - Study sheets, manuals, keep plenty of note paper around.
