What is Relay for Life? • Relay for Life is a 24-hour fundraising and relay event where participants fundraise and walk a track to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and its mission to help eliminate cancer and is organized every year at several locations across the states. • More than 2,500 Relay for Life Events is held across the country every year to support and celebrate survivors and their caregivers as well as honor those who have passed away or who are currently fighting cancer. • The funds raised through this event go toward groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and much more.
