Foreign visitors • In 2007, almost 1 million foreign visitors came to Wales. • On average, they spent £344 each in the country.
Golf • In 2007, 86,400 visitors came to Wales to play golf. • Between them, they spent £26.1 million to boost the local economy. • That amounts to over £300 per visitor.
