Terra Cotta Warrior Ceramics
Emperor Qinpronounced: “Ch’in” China is named after him. He started his reign at age 13. He united the 7 warring states and formed China in 221 B.C. He initiated construction of the Great Wall. He declared himself the first emperor of China and named himself Shi Huangdi (meaning First Emperor). He died at the age of 49 in 210 B.C. He drank Mercury.
