  3. MURDER • Includes the taking of a human life • Taking the life of an unborn child

  4. Murder 1 • Maximum fine is $50,000 • Life without parole • Death • Life for death of unborn child

  5. Murder 2 • Maximum fine is $50,000 • Maximum jail sentence is life in prison without parole • Can jump to murder 1 when premeditation introduced

  6. Serious bodily injury: $50,000 40 years Includes unborn child Bodily injury $50,000 20 years Includes unborn child Criminal attempt, solicitation, or conspiracy

  7. Murder 3 • $50,000 • 40 years • Includes unborn child

  8. Felonies • 1: $25,000 / 20years • 2: $25,000 / 10 years • 3: $15,000 / 7 years

  9. Misdemeanors • 1: $10,000 / 5 years • 2: $5,000 / 2 years • 3: $2500 / 1 year

  10. 1101 Fines Any higher amount equal to double the gain from crime Higher or lower amount required by law

  11. Summary violations $300 / 90 days License suspension for juveniles

  12. 1106. Restitution • 1. Can be ordered for injuries to persons, stolen or damaged goods • 2. In addition to sentence • 3. May be made condition of probation or parole

  13. 1109. Costs Defendant may be required to pay court costs in addition to sentence and restitution

  14. 2101. Display of Flag at public meetings • Flag must by displayed at public meetings reasonably clean and in good repair • Summary

  15. 2102:Desecration of Flag • M-3 if: • 1) Write, mark or advertise on flag • 2) Exposes to public view a marked flag • 3) Manufactures or sells advertisement flag • 4) Publicly or privately mutilates, defaces, tramples on or casts contempt on a flag • Exceptions: government approval or demonstration • Crimes code: definition of flag

  16. 2103: Insults to national or commonwealth flag • Deliberately takes down, damages, orremoves U.S. / PA flags which is publicly or privately displayed • M-2
