Readiness and Transformation Team Highlights Team’s focus and responsibilities are split between ERCOT and Market Participants Team leads and sub-teams will work together to accomplish overall readiness of the market Each function within ERCOT or MP will be supported by the respective sub-team members. Metrics, Market Training and general communications will require coordination across the entire team. ERT will engage with all other teams involved in Nodal Transition (Market Trials, Market Participants, Testing, Traceability, Business owners) Some roles are expected to continue past go-live

Market Readiness and Transformation Team Lead The primary decision point on shifts in the Market Participant Readiness Plan Interface with MP’s through outreach and market training Troubleshoot system discrepancies that could impact readiness Evaluate collective progress of MP’s Participate in Market Trials planning Lead of Outreach, NIT/Parking Lot Working Group, and Participant Assessments sub-teams Responsible for delivering Market Transformation Plan Confirm and review Market Participant Metrics • Lead: Matt Mereness

Sub-team – Outreach Responsible for the creation and delivery of a Market Participant needs survey Coordinate site visits and surveys, aggregate and communicate survey results Participate in on-site visits to Market Participants; readiness evaluations and question & answer sessions will be conducted Coordinate with Nodal Communications, Client Relations and Corporate Communications if common issues and questions require a standardized response Deliverables include Outreach Plan, Outreach Program, Needs Survey Lead: TBD

Sub-team – NIT Liaison ERCOT Liaison for the Nodal Implementation Team (NIT) Agenda coordination, time allotment, presenter preparation Manage the NIT in issues related to the Nodal transition Conduct Parking Lot assessment on which items are Phase 2 Assist in preparation and messages for NIT meetings Deploy MP Readiness Lead for decision points Lead: Carrie Tucker

Sub-team – Market Mechanics Training Determine content, schedule, audience and delivery method for each course Deliver course material related to Nodal (e.g. market mechanics, market rules, market operations) to both ERCOT personnel and Market Participants Ensure the contents of training are aligned with Policies and Procedures sub-team and business units Create market mechanics training Coordinate with ERCOT Training Coordinator on feasibility and application of learning management system Responsible for delivering Market Training Course Catalog, Market-based training Lead: Ted Hailu Note: This role is expected to continue past go-live.

  10. Sub-team – Participant Assessments Validation and assessment of Market Participant readiness against handbooks and guides Support the timeline for cutover activities Administer and oversee the development of participant assessments Bridge to Market Trials Lead: Bob Spangler

Sub-team – Metrics Responsible for the maintenance, tracking, and publication of metrics Maintain the Metrics Dashboard and Nodal Readiness pages of the ERCOT website Direct and frequent communication with all other leads and sub-leads on team Coordinate with Nodal project leads when key milestones require metrics to be activated. Evaluate and recommend retirement, consolidation or modification or metrics. Coordinate with MP Readiness Lead or ERCOT Readiness Lead on changes to metrics Lead: Brandon McElfresh

Readiness & Transformation Responsible for creating and delivering a clear and consistent message to all internal and external parties regarding ERCOT and Market Participant Readiness Integrate the ERT plan into ERCOT’s Nodal program schedule Integrate MER into ERT Maintain budget and resource allocations Coordinate communication with Nodal and corporate communications Facilitate achievement of project milestones Escalate readiness issues to appropriate venue Lead: Vikki Gates
