  5. ENVIRONMENTAL FOCUS Rail freight is the eco-friendly solution to transport more goods in a better way for the climate. A study conducted by the UIC shows that CO2 emissions are eight times less than the road. Source: Railway Pro

ENVIRONMENTAL FOCUS An extremely positive carbon balance • Cargoes carried over long distances • High degree of effective safety management • Focus on transferring cargo from road to rail Based on electric power locomotives • Captrain fleet’s currently includes 88 electric locomotives • Aim is to have a modern, energy efficient electric fleet
