This study presents a gene-specific FMR1 PCR method enabling the accurate detection of CGG repeats ranging from 20 to 940 in genomic DNA derived from 16 different Coriell cell lines. Each cell line's DNA was amplified using specific primers, and the amplified products were analyzed through capillary electrophoresis (CE). The findings include detailed reference numbers for each cell line, the respective CGG repeat sizes provided by the submitter, and an inset plot illustrating the identification of separate alleles in NA07541 (29/31 CGG).

Supplemental Figure 1. Gene-specific FMR1 PCR Enables Detection of Coriell Cell Line DNA from 20 to 940 CGG Repeats on CE. Genomic DNA from 16 different Coriell cell lines were amplified by gene-specific FMR1 PCR and the corresponding amplicons resolved by CE. The reference number of each cell line gDNA is given, along with the repeat size provided via the sample submitter to Coriell. An inset plot of NA07541 (29/31 CGG) is shown to indicate the separate identification of the two alleles. The corresponding repeat size of each template determined by the gene-specific PCR reagents is presented in Suppl Table 1.
