  2. Use of network and internet • Military(1969) • Education (1960s, 1970s and 1980s) • Open to public (1994-1996) Use of the internet and the languages: • English 30% • China 17%, • Spanish 9%, • Japanese 7%, • French 5% , • and German 5%

  3. About the rejoin, most of the users are based on rejoin: • 40% in Asia. • 17% in Europe. • 17% North America. • 10% in the Latin America and Caribbean. • 4% in Africa. • and 3% in the Middle East and Australia.

  4. different types of networks • Local Area Network (LAN) which is a group of microcomputers located in the same general area. • the Backbone Network (BNs), typically span from hundreds of feet to several miles and provide very high speed data transmission, commonly to 100 to 1,000 Mbps.

Metropolitan area network (MAN) connects LANs and BNs located in different areas to each other and to WANs. • Wide area network (WAN) WAN is circuit provide by IXCs come in all types and sizes but typically spam hundreds or thousands of miles and provide data transmission rates from 56Kbps to 10 Gaps.

The office network • LAN has two different ways • peer-to-peer networks. • connecting two computers or more share files or programs. • It is cheap easy to create that kind of network. • disadvantages of the peer to peer network is slower than server based network • it is unsuitable for a complex network • A failure in one point may cause and effect a failure in all other computer since it is all connected throw other users network .

  7. 2. the client/ server network • The client server network is about where make one computer to be as the server and make it share all the files with others computers. • As the advantage of using the client server network is that • when the files are stored it is more efficiency to backing up and handling the data when it is needed. • In case failure happens in one computer that is not going to effect the other users as long as the server are not damaged.

  8. The ways of connecting network • Cabling advantages : • Cable has been used for many years. • More secure Disadvantages: • Not flexible

  9. 2. wireless advantages : • More flexible • Less cost disadvantages: • signal quality • Less secure

  10. Most of companies are creating an official website • connected with their costumers. • provide as much as help to their costumer. • companies can reach people from the entire world and advertise for their products internationally. • Can reach costumers from all around the world.

  11. network & video conferences Advantages: • save the companies thousands of Dollars. • save the time instead of traveling just to meet with people from other organizations in different countries.

  12. sharing the information • allow you to have your files and to share your presentations with however you want to share with. • You can also control both if you want someone to go and do some changes in the file that you’re working on or only to read.
