CPW Learning Intentions - Today, I am going to address these College Readiness Standards in English: Word Choice in Terms of Style, Tone, Clarity, and Economy 28-32 Organization, Unity, and Coherence 20-23 Conventions of Usage 20-23 Conventions of Usage 28-32 SQUADS “10th Grade English” Success Criteria – I will know I am successful if I can: • correct wordy and confusing language • use logical transitions • ensure subject-verb agreement • choose correct pronoun or noun

  2. 10th Grade English Directions • You will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to work on each question individually. • There will be a stopwatch timer included on each slide for the teacher to set so you can keep track. • After you have completed each question individually, you will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to work as a group and decide on the best answer and rationale.
