  10. some SAS commands you need • need a data file (example.txt) and a program file (example.sas) • make sure the extensions are correct and that the location of the data file is correctly noted in the program • call program steps into Editor (open file) • submit (or F8) • see listing of output (or F7) • check log output (for error checking) F6 • save and print files as needed • clear active window (Ctrl E) 8
