  2. Instructions: • Create as “SkiShop.mdb” on your U:/ drive. • Complete this Database Assignment • Email this to your teacher when finished • Input the following into a new table using design view: • Make the fields: Store Name, Owner/Manager, Street Address, City Name, State, Zip Code

  3. Create your table in Design View:

  4. Let Access set the primary key automatically. This option will pop up when you try to save your table…

  5. Make a table with the following data records:

  6. Ski Shop directions (continued): • Open a Word document and key in your heading. The “answers” on the word document will be • Copy of your Table • Form copy • Find/Replace – you will have 4 of these • Query – Design View and Result • Report • Make sure you have all data entered correctly. • Make a copy of your table and paste it before making any changes. • Make a new form with Form Wizard. Make the form columnar. • Sort the forms by zip code and move to the last record. • Use Alt/Printscreen to make a screen-shot of the form you made and copy it to your Word document.

Ski Shop directions (continued): • Find and Replace: • Find Colorado and Replace with CO – Copy/Paste the find window • Find California and Replace with CA – Copy/Paste the find window • Find Nevada and Replace with NV – Copy/Paste the find window • Find Utah and Replace with UT – Copy/Paste the find window

  8. Ski Shop directions (continued): • Run a query for all stores in CO (Colorado). Go into design view of your query and sort ascending by city. • Copy both datasheet view and design view of the query to your word document.

  9. Ski Shop directions (continued): • Run a quick report of your entire Ski Shops table and make a screen-shot to paste on your Word document. • Email you assignment to me with Ski Shops in your email subject line.
