  • In 1992 ITW acquired Plastic Recycling Alliance (Joint venture between Dupont and Waste Management)
  • Relocated PRA to the Kentucky facility in 1997 adjacent to Signode strapping plant

  • An estimated 7,700 Curbside Collection programs and 10,000 Drop-Off programs collect PET in the US
  • Approximate number of PET beverage bottles per pound: 16 oz = 18 bottles per pound

20 oz = 19 bottles per pound

2 liter = 9 bottles per pound
