Overview • My instructor was Andrea Kavka-White • Graduated from Temple with a Bachelors in OT • Certified Hand Therapist • Works closely with Philadelphia Hand Center at Jefferson Hospital • Premier Orthopedics • Orthopedic surgery,Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, MRI, urgent care, EMG testing and Pain Management • In 2007, Premier opened a Orthopedic Urgent Care center to eliminate Emergency Room wait time and visits for patients

  3. Premier Orthopedics • Premier Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Associates provides the highest quality musculoskeletal care in the Philadelphia region. Premier is comprised of 50 top-notch orthopaedic surgeons. We are the largest specialty group in Pennsylvania. Our specialists range from hand and joint replacement to sports injuries involving the knees and shoulders. In fact, many of Premier’s physicians are affiliated with professional sports teams, professional dance companies and athletes from high schools, colleges and U.S. Olympic teams. • Our group formed in 2000 with a mission to provide high quality, comprehensive and accessible care to our patients. We have opened 15 physical therapy centers throughout Chester and Delaware Counties where we directly manage the daily operations offering state of the art rehabilitation programs not only for injured athletes and injured workers, but also for anyone with musculoskeletal issues. Our personal oversight ensures that our patients are receiving the exact treatment that we prescribe in a highly professional, caring environment. In addition, we offer a Home Physical Therapy program that has significant impact on the continuity of care of our patients.

Responsibilites • Get new patients from the waiting room • Apply heat in the beginning of therapy • Set up the fludotherapy machine in the morning • Conduct therapy for patients and help them through their workout flow sheets • Assist in Evaluations • Assist in Re-evaluations • Make sure that the patient and I understand the proper technique for certain therapy exercises • Make sure that the patient completes all of their exercises • Watch the patients to make sure they are doing the proper technique throughout the entire therapy session
