  1. Installing a Home Theater Amplifier Here are the steps: 1. Know first what type or kind of amplifier you want or like for your home theater setup. Try to check this website. (https://bestamps.net) Deciding on this matter will rely on your desired quality of sound and budget you have. The capability of an amplifier is to increase the power of your speaker's availability to a maximum while the one that controls both the amp and speaker is the so-called preamplifier in order to function. Do you know what a tube amp is? It basically created with a vacuum tube where electrons (cathode and anode) works to produce high quality of sound. There are four kinds of amplifier: Field Effect Transistor or FET amp, Class A, Class B and Class AB. Sound production varies to its kind.

  2. 2. Get ready to choose what type of amplifier setup you want to install. An amplifier comes with many different structure with regards to number of speaker, its type, and room setup. Having two speakers, usually we choose a stereo amplifiers. Monoblock amplifiers are used in multiple high powered speakers. To come out with a best setup for advanced home theater at least five(5) inputs or higher, use multichannel amplifiers. 3. Put your equipment in proper order. Equipments such as amplifiers, cable connectors, input sources and preamplifiers are required as the basic components of setting up your home theater. Input devices like DVD players and cellphones are considered as Input sources you want to plug into the speakers. Wires or jacks in standard or extended length are known as cable connectors is used to connect to the input sources.

  3. 4. For your home theater, your preamplifier must be positioned as desired. It should be easy to access for both input and output cables with space. If you use a cabinet, a back opening or no cover that can hinder the cables. 5. Cables must be organized. Regardless of how many cables it may be, label each cable. One way of labeling it is using a masking tape and then wrap it near the connector's plug and as well as the source.

  4. 6. Input sources such as dvd player must connect to the preamplifier. Connect the cables of your input devices to input preamplifier's plugs. Make sure to use the correct cable and connect to the correct input plug in the preamp. Plug is properly connected to the outlet or slot. 7. Connect the preamp to the amplifier. The preamp's output terminals are being connected by the cables to the plugs of the input that can be found amplifier's back. Speakers and amplifiers are now connected through the output terminals. It is not ideal to connect a multiple channel amp to multiple speakers for it can ruin your amplifier.

  5. 8. Turn it on. After choosing what input device/source you will use, it's time to turn on both amplifier and preamp. To avoid unnecessary sound, do not connect the amplifier if the power is on and control the volume from the very minimum gradually increasing.
