  14. Organizing for Ministry Without a strategy in place, most classes or groups will not accomplish the goal of doing ministry!

  16. Ministry Groups:The Key to Effective Class Ministry Every week, time in class should be given to share about needs they are discovering! WARNING: Not a gossip session!

  17. Ministry Groups Allow For: Immediate Action on Member Needs Opportunity to Share Concerns and Prayer Needs Opportunity for Members to Use Their Gifts to Serve Jesus Christ through the Church

  18. Guidelines for Adult Ministry Groups Ministry Leader is enlisted by the class teacher*. The class teacher* assigns class members and prospects to ministry groups The ministry group should have no more than six people assigned to it or in the case of a code class – six or seven couples or 12 individuals total. Group members should be contacted weekly and at very least, monthly. The Ministry Leader shall report any major concerns of the group to the class teacher* With the help of the department outreach/evangelism leader or class teacher, the leader should organize food arrangements after hospital stays or other tragedies to help members and prospects. All information received by the Ministry Leader is to be kept in the strictest confidence. *--Class coordinator or Department Outreach/Evangelism Leader
