  12. Prof. Krasnov was the first surgeon implanting IOLs in the USSR • The first surgeon in the world applying laser in ophthalmology Passed away on June 24, 2006in Moscow He will be remembered as one of the most influencing Russian ophthalmologists of the second half of XXth century
