  7. House Language - 10 Report Language: 1. Directs DOI & HUD to clarify their roles in Indian housing and avoid duplication 2. Directs BIE to study impacts of allowing reinstatement of termination era academic programs or schools that were removed from Bureau school system between 1951-1972. Due: 180 days after enactment. 3. Establishes a working group of DOI, DOJ, Tribal & State officials to develop recommendations on how to streamline Federal, State and Tribal response to criminal investigations & prosecutions. Due: 90 days after enactment

  8. House Language - 10 Report Language: 4. Work with DOJ to develop a priority list for detention facility construction 5. Work with DOJ to develop a voluntary annual training program for Tribal court officials and judges to promote improvements in Tribal judicial systems. 6. Engage IG to ensure funds are spent wisely, etc.

  9. Senate Language - 10 • Report Language: • By Jan 1, 2010: Report on specific short term and long term actions necessary to alleviate the problems with the Wapato irrigation project, and a schedule for implementation.

  10. House & Senate - 10 Bill Language: • Allows Bureau to purchase uniforms or identifying clothing specifically for safety of field personnel
