  2. NETWORK HARDENING – Ongoing • Implemented Pole Inspections • Instituted Engineering Design Changes • Replaced damaged Outside Plant with facilities less susceptible to future storm damage • Replaced batteries in DLCs

  3. DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PLAN and ACTION • Implement existing disaster preparedness plans in advance of forecasted storm • Coordinate with other utilities and with governments through presence at EOCs • Communicate regularly and frequently both internally and externally

  4. POST STORM RECOVERY • Follow Disaster Preparedness Plan for post storm recovery • Activate Rapid Response Team • Area Survey Teams canvass the area as soon as it is safe to do so • Immediately begin restoration with prioritized circuits restored first
