About IPCA • IPCA MISSION STATEMENT: • To promote the state-of-the-art PCB technology and business in the country by mutual exchange of ideas and technical interactions arranged through Seminars, conferences etc., periodically. • The Association is a voluntary, non-profit, service oriented professional organization • Member of the WECC (World Electronic Circuits Council), • IPCA Membership is open to PCB designers, PCB manufacturers, EMS companies, other users, suppliers of equipment and raw materials and their authorised representatives.   16. Indian PCB Industry • Total size of the Industry 300mill US Dollar • Current turn over 180 mill USD. Expected turn over 350 mill in another three years time. • Present state-of-the-art technology: in house capacity tomanufacture highly complex PCBoards, single, double andmultilayers upto to 20 layers. Higher counts are mostly for prototyperequirements meeting export demands from our leading prototype shops. • Experiencing an 15-20% annual growth rate. • Exporting 25% (40 mill USD) of its total production. • Future growth rate 40% Indian Printed Circuit Association

IPCA Future Programs • To establish Industry Association Trade Centre as a joint venture with IPC, USA facilitating IPCA to train it’s members/technical personnel in IPC specs. 600 & 610D by conducting workshops and other associated training programmes on PCB Manufacturing, assembly and testing. MOU already signed with IPC, USA • To conduct and hold IPCA expo 2007 during 22 – 24, August 07 • To organize Electronic Designers certificate course (CID), technical seminars and business meet during our Expo 2007 • To enroll more contract manufacturers as members of IPCA. • To bring in environmental awareness in the process and disciplineof PCB manufacture • To implement Lead-free technology of interconnect manufactureby the end of 2006
