As a practice, civic reflection can lead to improved communication, and is a very useful tool in helping people connect to their work, improving retention, increasing job satisfaction, and creating a healthier team dynamic. Learning civic reflection skills is also a way to develop crucial professional competencies. Workshop participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of civic reflection and become advocates of reflective discussion that complements and strengthens the good work of both the individual and the organization. Civic Reflection workshops are held in collaboration with Illinois Campus Compact. The event is free and open to the public.
