  2. Global level: • Existing tools • Conferencing system could potentially be very useful to establish new avenues of dialogue • Need to assess usefulness of supplementary email address

  3. Regional Level: • Solicomm could definitively be used by a large number of affiliates. • The conference system could be used as a good distance learning tool. • free emails account will be very useful. • The use of free webspace will be very dependent on skills – need for education.

  4. Plan of Action:

  5. Seek political commitment from the leadership • Talk with affiliates to identify their needs and priorities • Define rules of usage / moderation / plan of usage. • Form a core/pilot team, to evaluate the tools and to decide on a strategy. • Train the trainers

  6. Extend the program to other people, using the initial group as instructors / facilitators, in collaboration with the GUFs • Launch conferences on various subjects of importance ( focus on the priorities of the ICFTU, its regional organizations and Global Unions ) • Organize promotional activities to build interest in the program • Develop a community of technical and technological assistance
