  3. Sound Familiar? “ . . . we are working toward the following outcomes for each and every Missouri community. We know that we are successful when: As people choose healthier lifestyles, alcohol and other drug problems within communities are continually and measurably reduced as measured by indices such as high school drug use, drug affected births, DUIs, emergency room admissions, drug-related deaths, domestic violence, and crime . . .”

  4. ADA Statement of Vision “. . . as people choose healthier lifestyles, alcohol and other drug problems within communities are continually and measurably reduced as measured by indices such as high school drug use, drug affected births, DUIs, emergency room admissions, drug-related deaths, domestic violence, and crime . . .” -- Missouri Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Enterprise, 1992.

  5. Operational Plan “. . . the development of an annual report which organizes national, state, and regional substance abuse data for comparative purposes so that communities will have reliable indicators of alcohol and other drug abuse problems. Communities can then use the data to establish priorities and promote changes in behavioral norms. . .” -- Adopted by ADA State Advisory Council, August 1994
