  1. Calling all green thumb If you love plants, but don’t really have the time to nurture and maintain them, give these indoor plants a chance. Many of them can survive extreme conditions and forgo water for a few days. The best part? Indoor plants will not only add the perfect charm to your home but also purify the air and bring good luck too. Here are a few you can start with: Aloe vera It’s a magical plant and one-stop solution to almost all skin and hair problem. Aloe vera will not only look good in your living room, but you can also snap a leaf or two to rescue you from burns, dark circles, ruddy skin, and more. Bamboo A common “good luck” plant, bamboo not only brings in an aesthetic element to living quarters, but according to feng shui it attracts prosperity, good health, and happiness too – and it has a very long life and barely requires any maintenance at all. Snake plant Also known as mother-in-law’s tongue, this is one of the most beautiful decor friendly plants you can bring home. Its dark green leaves are long and stiff, and this plant can survive with minimal sun exposure and in a cool climate. Chinese money plant The Chinese money plant is a common sight in many South-east Asian homes, as people believe it brings in wealth and prosperity. That aside, it’s also really easy to maintain. Additionally, it is considered to be a very effective and powerful air-purifying plant. Ponytail palm As weird as it may sound, this variety of palm is also commonly known as elephant’s foot plant – mostly because the stem of the plant does look like an elephant’s foot. With long and thin leaves, it can survive really harsh conditions.
