  2. Structures Inside Junagarh Fort The Junagarh Fort is full of beautifully designed palaces, constructing and kiosks. The architectural wonders are sufficient to spellbind the site visitors. Gates: The fortress consists of seven gates. Out of those, there are two main gates - the Karan pole, the previous primary gate of access and the Suraj pole, the modern min gate. The Suraj pol is product of yellow sandstone. The Suraj pol faces eastwards, and whilst it receives the first rays of the solar, the golden visage is a sight to look. At the mouth of this gate, there are red stone statues of elephants followed by using mahouts. The different gates of the fortress are Daulat pol (double gate), Chand pol and Fateh Pol. All the gates are worth of the gorgeous palace that they result in. Temples: The royal temple of the citadel is the Har Narayan temple which is devoted to Lord Lakshmi Narayan and his wife, Lakshmi. The Ratan Behari temple is also located near Junagarh fort. It is devoted to the Hindu God Krishna.
