  4. Why is it important? • Gain control of your internship or full time job search • Learn to confidently prepare a 60 second biography or description • Networking is an investment and should not be a pain • Networking does not stop once you get the job, it is a continuous, essential process

  5. 5 Ways to Network Effectively… 1. Look presentable. 2. Force yourself to get a few points across to your audience, ensure you control the conversation enough to impress the employer. 3. Don't try to work the room. It is not the quantity but the quality. 4. Don't limit yourself to networking events (Company Social and EXPO). 5. Prepare to stay in touch. Follow up. Make a point of contacting people whom you met within a day or two either by phone or email.
