    2. 4/6/2012 2 The ARNG must efficiently shepherd its’ equipment resources to mitigate near term risk and enhance readiness for our formations by leveraging the Army National Guard 1 to 25 Equipment Modernization Shortfall List. Each of these systems on our new list have been reviewed to ensure they are procurable and have a valid LIN. The process took us to the States and Territories, NGAUS Resolutions, to the Army and ARNG systems managers, and the ARNG divisions. This is the list we feel we meets the ARNG requirements. The ARNG must efficiently shepherd its’ equipment resources to mitigate near term risk and enhance readiness for our formations by leveraging the Army National Guard 1 to 25 Equipment Modernization Shortfall List. 3. 4/6/2012 3 The systems in blue have been tagged to replace those systems no longer meeting the criteria identified in our previous slides. The requirements for these systems and their ability to assist the ARNG in the missions of HLS/HLD and GWOT is of great importance. They provide the means to gain STAMIS in communications, and unit and soldier protections. The systems in blue have been tagged to replace those systems no longer meeting the criteria identified in our previous slides.
