Course overview This course is presented mostly in Question and Answer format with seven modules following this introduction. • Module I—basic facts about discrimination—What it is, and what kinds are illegal. • Modules II & III—The Equal Credit Opportunity Act and the Fair Housing Act—Substantive rules on Fair Lending practices: what lenders can and cannot do. • Modules IV & V—TheHome Mortgage Disclosure Act and the Community Reinvestment Act—Requirements for the public disclosure of certain Fair Lending data. • Modules VI & VII—Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices regulations and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act—Prohibition of unfair business practices and requirements for handling credit transactions with our men and women who are called to active military duty.
