  1. Kate vs. Edith “Women Before Their Time”: Round One • Time to do a little research! Today and tomorrow we will have computers, so use your time wisely. This assignment is due Wednesday by midnight (emailed to me at annflurry@smsd.org) • Research the most interesting info you can find on either KATE CHOPIN (AP testers) or EDITH WHARTON (non-testers). These two women were writing at the end of the Realist Period. • After researching, create a PP or Prezi that includes: • 1. Between 10-13 slides • 2. At least two excerpts from her own writing • At least two quotes from others regarding her life or writing • Major themes from her pieces • Interesting life info • At least one picture • At least one other creative element (audio, visual, modern day tie-in, etc.) • The project that I determine the winner for the class will receive 5 bonus points!
