  • One of the largest tortoises in the world
  • Lives 70 or more years
  • Can weigh as much as 120 pounds
  • Can be found in savannah habits
  • They are herbivores
  • They eat carrots ,grass ,kale ,wild flowers,
  • They don’t produce until they are ten
  • Females lay up to 30 eggs

  • Habitats grassland,savannahs,woods,brushes, and forests
  • Life span: 20 years in captivity
  • Found in the southern parts of Africa
  • Eats: rodents, insects, and small birds caught in mid-air
  • A lesser cat not to be grouped with bigger cats
