Cape Ann Marina - Gloucester • Chemical pre-treatment for discharge to local sewer (American Cleanway) • Certified operator required – Grade 2 • Must remove large solids before treatment • Dried sludge = solid waste • Stormwater Issues • Costs System - $25K (system, start-up chemicals, and training) Total - $48K (includes washpad, site work, electrical, plumbing…)

Arey’s Pond Boatyard - Chatham • Closed-loop re-circulating system (RGF Environmental) • Settling, physical filtration, odor control • No operational permits • No certified operator • Owner satisfied with system after 2 seasons • Costs System - $16.3K (system and training) Total - $36.7K (includes washpad, electrical, plumbing…)
