Enhancing Communication Skills for Student Success at MSJCC
The Mississippi Job Corps Center, led by President Dewon Stampley, recognizes that ineffective communication among students leads to disruptive behavior and early program exits. To address this issue, we are implementing effective communication training for students. Our goal is to foster an environment where students can interact with dignity and respect. We will know we are successful by tracking reductions in conflicts and disciplinary actions, improved retention rates, increased program completions, and ultimately, more smiling faces in our community. Thank you for your attention.
