  1. Fast petition, fast results The people petitioned the Whitehouse to make unlocking cell phones legal and the Whitehouse responded rapidly. This can be used for a discussion of the political implications of the Internet or, more generally, of the wisdom of the crowd. It can also be used as an example of a politician using a new medium in new ways or, more generally, of using new media in new ways.
