  2. What is Commerce Manager at the University of Mary Washington? A tool for the University to: • Allow departments to offer customers the ability to pay on line with credit card and/or eCheck for a University hosted event • Quickly set up and meet department commerce needs in-house for state and local funds only • Reduce fraud, risk and possible PCI issues • Centralize campus commerce

UMW utilizes QuikPay, a product of Nelnet Business Solutions • EaglePay allows students, parents and third parties to: • Make online payments in full for tuition, fees, housing and meals • Sign up for payment plans and pay monthly online for tuition and related costs • Commerce Manager allows customers to: • make online credit card and eCheck payments for conferences, seminars, workshops, athletic camps, concerts, etc.

  4. Commerce Manager works by • Capturing and processing payment information entered online by customers • Capturing up to ten fields of specific information requested by the department-Attendee’s Name, Email address, Phone Number, High School, Year in School, choices for sessions to attend, etc. • Allowing specified staff to log in and pull reports from all or any of the information gathered for an event • Allowing staff logins to be event specific
