  3. WHAT IS THEIR PERSONAL MOTIVATION FOR WORKING FOR GOD?

  4. HOW DO YOU KNOW IF SOMEONE IS CALLED OF GOD OR NOT? 1. _____________ “TINULAK”

  5. PRESSURE • They’re in the ministry because of _________________ coming from friends or a clan of church workers and ministers. • By _______________ because there is no one else. They’re simply available. DEFAULT

  6. PRODUCTIVE • They are not _____________. They really don’t have the call or gift to be in the ministry. • Their only hope and ___________. They have no other place to go. Drop outs from secular studies or work. FUTURE

  7. LEAVE • They don’t last long and easily __________ the ministry when difficult times come.

  8. “For Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica.” 2 Timothy 4:10

  9. SUPPORTIVE • They can better serve in a _________________ capacity

  11. “It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.” Philippians 1:15,17

  12.   Acts 19: 13-16 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.

  13. (One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

  20. Hebrews 13:17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
