  1. Healthy protein bars ingredient (what to eat and what avoid! ) First of all, I will talk about the things that you should avoid to eat for your health. Always check the ingredients for these names: 1.Palm oil: palm oil, made from the fruit of the oil palm tree. There are two types of oils: one is extracted from the flesh of the fruit and second one from the seed, or kernel (palm kernel oil). They are high in saturated fat, which has been linked to heart disease. Saturated fat increase bad (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides which are risk factors for heart disease. Unfortunately, it’s hard to avoid palm oil because it is in many different products ranging from food to make up. Here is a list of ways you can try to avoid it because as I mentioned palm oil is under different names so that you don’t know its palm oil. a.Vegetable oil b.Vegetable fat c.Stearic acid d.Palmate e.Palm f.Palm fruit oil g.Acetyl alcohol h.Sodium kernelate i.Palmityl alcohol Pick products that have clearly labeled oils like olive oil. 2.Corn syrup: corn syrup is the evil king of all refined grains is high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). It increases triglycerides, boosts fat storing hormones and drives people to overeat. 3.Sodium benzoate and potassium benzoate: these preservatives are linked with serious thyroid damage.

  2. 4.Butylated Hydroxy anisole(BHA): BHA is another potentially cancer- causing preservative. It is a major endocrine disruptor and can seriously mess with your hormones. 5.Sodium nitrates and sodium nitrites: they are believed to cause colon cancer and metabolic syndrome, which can lead to diabetes.
