  2. AGENDA – DIGITAL COMPUTER A AUG. 28, 2012 (TUESDAY) • Goals • To type using the right finger for each key • Average speed: at least 20 gwam • Accuracy: at least 85% • If at the end of the lesson you don’t meet the target speed and accuracy, you have to do the lesson again.

  3. STEPS • Click Start, All Programs, South-Western Keyboarding, and MicroType Pro. • Click New User. • Enter your full name under Name. • For Class ID enter MS. E. • Create your own password. • Click “A” for the Alphabetic Keyboarding. • Click 1 for Lesson and R1 for Review

  4. KEYBOARD TYPES • Standard of full-sized keyboard - Used for a desktop, it has all the keys including special keys. • Laptop-size keyboard - It has fewer keys. Usually it does not have a numeric keypad. • Thumb-sized keyboard – It is a small external keyboard designed for devices without a built in keyboard such as PDA’s and smartphones.
